Idk but I ordered the Hada Labo UV white gel from Amazon and the packaging was like the one on the right. I’m guessing they changed the packaging, since all the previous ones I bought on Amazon had packaging like the container on the left. They smelled and looked the same, otherwise.

Since then, I have been using their Hydrating Facial Wash, Hydrating Water Gel, and of course the Hydrating Lotion which is the star product of Hada Labo being Japan's No. 1 facial lotion.
